Mount Warburton Pike from the water

Mount Warburton Pike on Saturna Island at 397 metres high is the second tallest peak in the Gulf Islands. A road leads to the transmission towers at the top offering amazing views of the Gulf Islands, San Juan Islands and the mainland mountains. A trail runs along Brown Ridge for a few kilometres. If you’re lucky you will see the feral goats that inhabit the area..

Mount Warburton Pike is named for Warburton Pike (1861–1915), who purchased large tracts of land on Saturna in 1886 and whose ranch included the mountain.
